18. May 2019The greatest added value of the project are conformal cooling channels which cannot be manufactured otherwise than via 3D printing.
The material used was tool steel, hardened and tempered after manufacture in order to achieve the required lifespan of the mould.
The optimal placement of the channels allowed us to increase the production efficiency and improve the overall process of injection.
