I have been developing
my passion and experience since my studies at Technical University.

I realized the huge potential of fast prototype manufacture via 3D printing already as a student of the Manufacturing Technology programme. I started researching these technologies actively and later manufacturing my own prototypes.

3D printing is gradually taking the place of expensive injection moulds, huge amounts of waste and inflexibility of production, which is proven by the 21% year-on-year increase of 3D printing*. On the other hand, I am aware of the limitations and the quite narrow scope of use of additive manufacturing for the moment.

Thanks to my expertise of several years as a tool designer, I believe I can quite objectively evaluate the conventional manufacturing methods in contrast to 3D printing.

I use my knowledge of 3D modelling not only in free (organic) modelling, but also in topology optimisation. I believe that the correct understanding of the whole manufacturing process is the key in modelling. For this reason, conventional manufacturing might sometimes be more efficient than a combination of 3D printing and machining.

I actively work as a freelancer in design, manufacture and counselling in 3D printing.
